direction of the gravitational field) and its magnitude can be calculated
as the product of the liquid density *r* , the gravitational acceleration
*g*, and the height of the liquid column *h*: *p=r *g*h*. *It is important
to note that this pressure is independent of the shape of the container,
and this phenomenon is known in physics as the ‘hydrostatic paradox’*


Is this you? Or somebody else? Interesting stuff to read, but on a field
that I am not familiar with. Perhaps Arend is?
