It simply never happens.

The preferred, true time of my ether interpretation is one valid time
coordinate. Nothing tells that this time coordinate has to cover the
whole GR solution. The preferred time simply becomes infinite
whenever the horizon is reached.

So, in this preferred time coordinate the part behind the horizon
cannot influence the part outside simply because it is localized in
the future. And always remains in the future. What is "now" in the
center of the collapsing star is an event during the collapse, an
event before horizon formation, and it can, yet, radiate something
outside. The horizon is not yet formed.

It may have some cultural or mathematical value, no problem. I do not
believe that it has a physical meaning. That means, I do not believe
that there exists, somewhere, that four-dimensional animal named
spacetime. Similarly I do not believe that there exist 26 or 10 or 11
dimensions. And if it has some cultural or so value (astrology has a
large cultural value too) is nothing I would care about.
